In reimagining Comic-Con's graphic identity, I embraced inclusivity as the cornerstone of design, ensuring the new visual language speaks to every fan globally. This endeavor's heart is creating the logo, a deliberate homage to the pixel. This concept emerged from a deep appreciation of how every Comic—Con aspect— cosplay, gaming, or storytelling—is intricately connected to the digital realm. Each pixel in the logo is a metaphor for individuality, representing the diverse stories and faces that converge at Comic-Con to create a unified, dynamic community.
This journey was more than a design task; it was an opportunity to contribute to the fabric of a global community. I aimed to balance innovation with nostalgia by crafting the new graphic design for Comic-Con, crafting an emblem that is both forward-looking and deeply rooted in the event's rich heritage. The result is a design that redefines Comic-Con's visual identity and reinforces its commitment to welcoming everyone into the fold of fandom.
